Just popping in quick to give you guys some links to a few cute looks! The straw craze is in full swing right now and I'm completely guilty of loving every second of it! I fell head over heals for the straw bag look last summer and was hoping it would stay in style. Now I feel like every store and brand has their own version of one! The other straw look I'm crushing on: espadrille wedges and platform sandals. I went through a phase where I disliked wedges a lot - but now I want them ALL. In light of my upcoming trip to Miami (where I'll most definitely be rocking both of these looks), I've rounded up 10 of my favorite straw bags and wedges of the season! Sadly my exact bag has sold out but there's SO many more options and hopefully these links give you a good idea of what's out there!

Now a little personal talk.. besides thinking of wedges and straw bags, lately I have been in a continuous state of stress surrounding my graduate program. Something about this semester is so bland and slow - I'm honestly struggling to keep up my energy! I've realized that my posts in the past few months have been a reflection of this - brief and surface level. I love clothing, styling and finding inspiration (or else doing this whole blogging thing would be a drag), but my intentions go far beyond this - I want to create interesting content that ables me to connect with YOU GUYS!

I'm in the process of rediscovering my energy and finding ways to support it & take care of myself so that I can be my best in all aspects of my life - school, relationships & creating content. It's not always easy, and I sometimes find myself asking why I do this and what I'm providing that's different and meaningful.

Something I've been doing to try to prevent myself from falling into a deeper hole is setting aside time to solely work on my content. I oftentimes let myself think that if something isn't involving my graduate course work that it's stupid, selfish or not important. It's hard to get out of this mindset but this isn't true. Everything we find passion in is meaningful and deserves our effort and time. Don't let a hobby or interest fall through the cracks just because it isn't earning you money, etc.

"Find time to do what makes your soul happy."

This is a quote that I constantly find myself stopping and reading whenever I come across it. I truly believe this is one of the most important pieces of advice - if we aren't doing this what really is the point?

I have some fun posts in my plans for the next few months which will hopefully turn this around and help me reestablish my intentions in doing this! I'm so thankful for anyone who follows along and takes interest in my posts and ideas - you mean so much!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK lovelies! Thanks for stopping in xx
